Start Apache Tomee (or Tomcat) in Windows providing proxy parameters that contain wildcard ("asterisk") character

  apache-tomee, tomee-7, windows

I need to start Apache TomEE in windows providing some http proxy parameters; one of them contains a wildcard, which I don’t know how to escape.

I have this in the "setenv.bat" file:

set "JAVA_OPTS=%JAVA_OPTS% -DproxyUser=user -DproxyPassword=password
-Dhttp.nonProxyHosts=localhost|127.*|[::1]|*.somedomain.net|^*.local|1xx.xx.^*
-Dhttp.proxyHost=ourproxy.net -Dhttp.proxyPort=80 -Dhttps.proxyHost=ourproxy.net -Dhttps.proxyPort=80"

Both PowerShell and WindowsCMD give the same error message:

‘127.*’ is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable
program or batch file.

What’s the correct way to escape the "asterisk" (*) character ?

Thanks.
