- Windows 10
- Apache 2.4
- PHP 8
My company operate under Azure AD and users have access to a Azure Managed Disk share, e.g.
As an Azure AD user, I have no problem accessing this share via Windows explorer.
My Windows Service for Apache has to run as a local Administrator account (as I am unable to run services with the Azure AD account). It can also run as the NT System; but that doesn’t change things in this scenario.
Using a simple PHP call, it confirms that the local Apache service does not have read/write to the Azure AD Managed Disk Share.
if(file_exists("\10.1.2.3AzureManagedDiskShareSome.file")) # <-- Can't read file
I’ve see a few how-to’s, PHP libraries and SDKs relating to how to access Azure Storage/Blob shares.
However, I can’t find anything on how to access Azure Managed Disk shares.
Is it safe to say that this is not possible or is there something I am missing?
