Disable accessiblity for specific application in Windows

  excel, ui-automation, windows

I’m building some sort of screen reader / assistance app. How do I block Microsoft UI automation calls to specific apps?

For example when using UIA apis on certain apps, it slows down the app. Excel is a good example. Excel slows down in certain situations while making the UIA calls.

I searched the settings menu of excel and the closest thing that I could Ease of Access menu and under that there is accessibility checker, but that is not what I want.

If you take chrome for example, chrome://accessibility/ we can enable / disable accessibility setting from there.

If I have to build some sort of proxy for UIA api call, how would I go about building it?
