I recently decided I wanted to try using the Linux bash in Windows 10. To do this, I followed an online guide that showed me how to activate developer mode from the settings, then enable the Linux subsystem in Windows from the control panel. Once I noticed all apps were launching in admin mode by default, I decided to undo everything but the problem persists.
Does anyone know why this could be happening?
I checked the properties of an app file and it didn’t have administrator mode enabled.
Edit: This was never an issue prior to the Linux subsystem attempt. For this reason, I feel fairly confident that the issue relates to that in some way.
