Data Structure for Packet [closed]

This is my first time for working with these topics.
I want a data structure for packets on ADC data, hence the device is for streaming analog data using TCP and ethernet if it matters. Currently I want to use ModBus TCP/IP, but my concern is on streaming data. my guess is, maybe in getting big stream data, this structure would be slow.
Am I right? or do You know any better structure? or any suggestion or keyword for searching?
