Put Oculus app as minimized when Windows 10 starts up

  app-startup, oculus, startup, windows

I’m trying to automatically minimize Oculus app when Windows 10 starts up. To do this I follow these steps:

  • select the “Start button” and scroll to find Oculus app
  • right-click the Oculus app, select “More”, and then select “Open file location”. This opens the location where the shortcut to the app is saved
  • right-click on the Oculus App and select “Properties”
  • in the “Shortcut” tab change the value of “Run” to “Minimized” in the drop-down menu and click on “Apply”
  • with the file location open, press the “Windows logo key + R”, type “shell:startup”, then select “OK”. This opens the Startup folder
  • copy and paste the shortcut to the Oculus app from the file location to the Startup folder
  • in the Startup folder right-click on the Oculus App shortcut and select “Properties”
  • in the “Shortcut” tab change the value of “Run” to “Minimized” in the drop-down menu and click on “Apply”

When I do this Windows 10 opens the Oculus app at startup but it not minimized.
Does everyone know how to solve this problem?
