Java Ant Launched Classes in Eclipse Remain in Memory [duplicate]

  ant, eclipse, java, windows

I have an ANT build file that automates the process of loading a number of resident services before running the event generator.

This works perfectly, however when the event generator terminates, it leaves all the services running in memory (which is the desired behaviour) so that they can respond to another test process event.

My problem is is that I cannot now terminate the classes (if I need to) using Eclipse as I would normally, using

enter image description here but have to manually delete the images from memory using the task manager

The problem is probably due to the fact that Eclipse has not actually loaded the classes and is not aware of them. Does anyone have a workaround for this problem?
