Build GNU Debugger (GDB) on Windows with MSYS2

  debugging, gdb, gnu, msys2, windows

I try to build the GNU Debugger on Windows 64 bit and for Windows 32 bit.
Therefore I used MSYS2 as proposed on https://sourceware.org/gdb/wiki/BuildingOnWindows.

Unfortunately I ran into the following error:

make[4]: *** [Makefile:509: as.info] Error 1
make[4]: Leaving directory '/c/GIT/binutils-gdb-WIN/gas/doc'
make[3]: *** [Makefile:1283: all-recursive] Error 1
make[3]: Leaving directory '/c/GIT/binutils-gdb-WIN/gas'
make[2]: *** [Makefile:819: all] Error 2
make[2]: Leaving directory '/c/GIT/binutils-gdb-WIN/gas'
make[1]: *** [Makefile:5004: all-gas] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory '/c/GIT/binutils-gdb-WIN'
make: *** [Makefile:915: all] Error 2

My installed packages in MSYS:

$ pacman -Qe
base 2020.12-1
bison 3.7.6-1
dejagnu 1.6.2-1
flex 2.6.4-1
git 2.32.0-1
libtool 2.4.6-11
make 4.3-1
mingw-w64-i686-gcc 10.3.0-5
mingw-w64-x86_64-gcc 10.3.0-5
pactoys-git r2.07ca37f-2
pkg-config 0.29.2-4
texinfo 6.8-1

I didn’t got what the problem is. Am I missing something?
