We have a java application that runs under multiple installs on a single Windows host, while the services names are different, the process names are not and stopping the service alone isn’t always enough. The only way we can ID which process to kill with the associated service is by seeing the file path the process is running out of. I would like to write a Python script to output the process IDs and the file locations of processes under a single name such as "java" and "wrapper". That way I can easily ID which process ID to kill going forward.
