How to stop jupyter notebook servers on win 10?

  anaconda, jupyter, jupyter-notebook, powershell, windows

From Powershell:

PS C:ProgramDataAnaconda3Scripts> jupyter notebook list
Currently running servers:
http://localhost:8890/?token1 :: C:Usersliran
http://localhost:8888/?token2 :: C:Usersliran
PS C:ProgramDataAnaconda3Scripts> Get-Process | Select-Object -ExpandProperty Path | Select-String "jupyter"
PS C:ProgramDataAnaconda3Scripts>

I have ended the jupyter process on the task-manager, yet the jupyter servers on my localhost are still running.

real tokens were replaced by token1 and token2.

before killing the process the token 2 link was accessible.

Is there an elegant way to stop these server?

PS C:ProgramDataAnaconda3Scripts> jupyter notebook stop 8888
[C 10:28:01.736 NotebookApp] No such file or directory: C:ProgramDataAnaconda3Scriptsstop
PS C:ProgramDataAnaconda3Scripts> jupyter notebook stop 8890
[C 10:28:13.756 NotebookApp] No such file or directory: C:ProgramDataAnaconda3Scriptsstop

the notebooks might have been started using anaconda navigator. the above commands were also tested from the (only) conda’s environment terminal and had the same results.

PS C:ProgramDataAnaconda3Scripts> jupyter notebook --version
5.0.0
